39 EXERCISE 2: UNPRONOUNCED FINAL CONSONANTS A. Masculine/Feminine One adjective in each pair ends in an unpronounced consonant, while the other ends in a pronounced consonant. Cross out the silent final consonant and underline the pronounced consonant, then say the pair aloud . Release the pronounced consonant clearly tomark the distinction betweenmasculine and feminine. Note: the order (m/f, f/m) changes at random.
