Sons et lettres: A Pronunciation Method for Intermediate-level French
29 FINDTEXTS THAT YOU LIKE Seek out short poems or song texts that please you. Listen to them, if possible, and say or sing them aloud to yourself, or perhaps to your friends. PLAY WITH WORDS Many activities in the lessons in Sons et lettres are designed to be fun. We encourage you to play with French words and sounds, both inside and outside of class. Think of words that rhyme with vocabulary words that you learn, and put rhyming words together to make combinations that are meaningful or ridiculous, humorous or serious. Write them down and say them aloud. Keep lists of favorite words, odd words, difficult words, etc. Words are the heart of the language; play with them and make them your friends.
