Country Workshops, a school for woodworkers, was established in 1978 to meet the needs of those wishing to pursue an interest in traditionally oriented crafts. A first Northeast conference on Food and Energy: Paths to Self-Sufficiency is planned for May 19 at Ramapo College in Mahwah, New Jersey.
