Surviving the Unexpected Wilderness Emergency by Dan Fear is a guide for getting by in the wilderness. $3.95. 196 pp. Surviving the Unexpected curriculum guide encompasses home and wilderness survival problems and is like the wilderness emergency book, except the information is in ~he form of projects and problems for classroom. Also available are pamphlets/sheets on a variety of subjects, like compass orientation, wilderness travel ... The bibliography they have is the best survival in the wild and/or alone I've seen anywhere.
