Now he complains that the latter is rude and ill-mannered, and Bormental tells Sharikov “to be as quiet as a mouse.” But Sharikov is Klim Chugunkin! Filipp Filippovich was well aware of this when he performed the operation. Why does he expect Sharikov to be an aristocrat? It is all Filipp Filippovich’s fault. Serves him right! He needs to leave Sharikov alone, or else we will take measures.
