Friday, Feb. 18,1994 Pioneer Courthouse Square and the streets of downtown Portland Rob Kerr and Rob Williamson. A n estimated 300 people protested against discrimination and oppression on Thursday. The concern of the Hispanic protesters is the alarmingly high drop out rate of Hispanics in high school and higher education. The Guatemalan flag is one of the banners at the rally symbolizing the diverse background of Hispanic students. 30
