Conservative Forum at PSU Recognizing that the future of the past, students assembled in 93/94 to discuss traditional values, liberty, and personal responsibility, maintaining the conservative voice established here in the early 90's. Under the guiding hands of Chairman Ron Sandquist, membership was tripled, providing students with the strength and courage to speak their mind in the face of potential university censure. Students discussed contemporary issues, current events, foreign policy, and Clinton's mismanagement of the economy. The Conservative Forum convened two panels that were particularly successful, the first dealing with School Choice and the benefits of bringing the free market to education in Oregon, and the other with Hillary Clinton's healthcare plan and the devistating effect of government mandated collectivization. Doctors, Business Counselors, and Legislative Researchers were seated on the panel and fielded questions from an enthusiastic audience of campus conservatives. For more information, contact Student Development Office on the meeting times and places in the 94/95 school year.
