Cumpston is hopeful though. “There is a place for everybody,” she says. “It just takes work.” The Career Center recorded approximately 46,000 contacts concerning jobs during 1992-93. As the class of 1993 marches down the isle, they better be ready for the heavy labor of finding a job prior to landing a job.
