Left: Lindgren uses his Braille writer to take notes in his political science class. He punches Braille points with a stylus into a special paper that he later files into a binder for future reference. Top right: The Braille system consists of six raised points used in 63 possible combinations; it is in use for printing, writing, and musical notation.
