72 The selection of Steve Johnson as "Mr. Pavlovski" early in VP Week was only slightly less heralded than the coronation of Diane Takeuchi, as queen of the week, during halftime at the PSU-Seattle Pacific basketball game. Inspired by the selec– tion of Miss Takeuchi, the Portland State team annihilated its opponents. Score 76-75. Overall, Voldimar Pavlovski Week was as successful as its predecessor, Homecoming.
