According to the conspiracy fetishists, "hippy" left-wing radicals elected Andrew Haynes to th e ASPSU presidency. Somehow some 1,010 students joined in the successful plot, and gave the school a black student body president. Muck flew in all directions as the leading con– tenders (Haynes 1 ,010 , Stan Amy 781 ; Steve Wash– burn 682) d etect ed conspi r acies by Big Business , the Vanguard , and student government .
