Loretta worked as rehearsal secretary for the American Theater Company, a group of professional actors under the direction of Thomas Hill. " At first we felt we wouldn ' t have a chance to meet them or get to know them . But they were the nicest people. They came into the acting labs and helped the kids with the scenes they were working on. They taught us lots of card games too. " We learned a lot from them. They had different approaches to acting. Some were very Method and internal and others were more interested in tech– nique. But they didn 't do odd things like sit in the corner and hold their heads."
