Psychology's new facilities and furnishings have given promising undergraduates the opportunity to work on original research under the guidance of a staff member. A special Honors in Research course added to the curriculum several years ago may now finally reach its potential. Students may, at last, become familiar with the techniques and phenomena of psychological research. The new equipment has greatly facilitated faculty research such as Dr. Cord Sengstake's on the function of the brain, and has laid the base for a future gradu- ate program. lt has made Experimental Psychology at PSC what it should be-a laboratory science. 184
