00ll Portland State's golf team did well against teams of comparable NCAA status. The Viks were led by Pete Taylor, Jim Orr, Mike O'Toole, and Steve Mc- Donald who were all often in the low seventies and alternated for honors as medalist. The PSC effort was assisted by Dave Cibson and Bill Bristol. Viking vic- tories included wins over Conzaga and Western Washington State. 166
