-_ ln the ski competition at Mt. Bachelor, sanctioned this year by the Pacific North- west Ski Association,13 teams vied for top honors. There were races-slalom, giant slalom, and downhill - Friday through Sunday. The Skimeister perpetual trophy, awarded annuaily to the outstanding racer of the meet, went to Central Washington State's Bob Spalding, whose times were 109.7, 88.2, and 76.0. In the combined team results, PSC placed sixth. ln individ- ual scoring, however, Portland State's Steve CIaire ran second only to Bob Spald- ing, making times of 112.2,92.0, and 78.9.
