track Viking trackmen had few bright spots as new Oregon Collegiate Confererrre rules eliminated some of the pSC squad. Some team members lacked the 24 credit hours from the previous two quarters required for eligibility. Standout for the vikings was Harold Strong i1 the 100 yard dash. Strong posted gooa times of around 9.8 for the rob.-others who helped were: Roger Sandvold, short dis- tances; Don Dalrymple and Herb parker, broad jump; and Jim Rommell in the pole vault.
