Viking wrestlers rolled over the OCC and local NAIA competition for the third year as PSC again won the OCC title, the District 1 and 2 NAIA title , and com– piled a 9-4 season's record in 1964. PSC retained the OCC crown with ease . The team score for the meet was : PSC-79, SOC-62, OTI-49, EOC-46, and OCE-36. The Viks claimed three indi– vidual weight titles in the meet. At 115 pounds , Jim Cumpston pinned his man at 7:57 in the match; at 123 pounds, Rich Green decisioned his man 13-4; and at 157 pounds, Les Brown decis– ioned his man 7-0. Fred Sieberthal picked up the Vik's only consolation title at 167 pounds . The District 1 and 2 NAIA was little more than a farce as the Viks scored 78 points and were 45 points ahead of the nearest contenders - Lewis and Clark and Eastern Oregon College with 33 points each. Team scores were : PSC-78 , LC-33, EOC-33 , SOC -28 , WWC-24, OCE-19, CWC-18, Whitman- 17, and Linfield-8. Individual weight championships taken by PSC were : Jim Cumpston , 115 pounds ; Rich Green , 123; Ron Calhoun, 130; Ron Dexter, 137; Larry Bender, 147; and Les Brown , 157.
