The reper– toire included the romantic sonata style compos it ions of Beethoven , Hayden and Mozart and the contemporary Bar– tok and Hindemuth , whose renunc iation of beauty is in itself romant ic gesture. These plus special student prices were expected to attract PSC students , ac– cording to Friends Cha irman , Herbert Gladstone. They didn't.
