bunce Louis Bunce, colorful and controversial Portland artist, captivated his audience in the White Gallery with candid dis– cussions of his own paintings and of the purposes and interpretations of abstract art. His talk was one in a series of lectures given by prominent artists in connection with shows set up by the College Center Exhibitions Committee . Bunce is perhaps best known for his large mural at the Port– land International Airport. It has been acclaimed and criticized by thousands from all over the world.
