116 Highlighting chess sessions at PSC this year was the visit from Samuel Reschevsky, King of America 's chess– dam. Reschevsky played 18 students at a time, at an entry fee of $1 .50 each , to be returned if they won . Nobody did , but there were some draws. The PSC Chess Club numbers about 30. Each Friday, several members meet in the CC to knit brows in ponderous deliber– ation over the boards. Frank Nettleton won the student and faculty tournament.
