The sophomore class, headed by officers; Terry Tierney, president; Dave Whitehead, first vice president; Donna Johnson, second vice president; Judy Hauser, secretary; Sharon Rice, treas urer; Barbara Halen, historian; and Karen Skoog, sergeant at arms; has had an excellent year. The first and customary duty of the class was to sponsor the freshman welcome dance at the be ginning of the fall term. The dance, held in the College Center cafeteria, has been the most pop ular event at the college.
