REGISTRAR AND BUSINESS OFFICE W. T. lEMMAN, JR. Business Manager The registrar's staff includes, from left, Mrs. Helen Wilderman, Dr. Howard Impecoven and Mr. Robert Tayler. Standing in lines seems to be about as close as most students ever feel to the Registrar's office, Yet every PSC student is affected by the work of this essential service. The making of class schedules on projected enrollment figures, handling of all student tran scripts as well as evaluations of new student appli cations, are some of the many duties performed in the Registrar's office. Dr. Howard Impecoven is the registrar aided by assistant registrars, Mrs. Helen Wilderman and Mr. Robert E. Tayler. Four times a year these people must brave the onslaught of hurried stu dents as term registration begins. One dream of the registrar is that electronic registrations may one day be a reality. Can you imagine-no registration lines? The Business Office handles all the monetary matters of the college. Most obvious to the students are the long fee-payment lines at the beginning of each term , but collection of student fees is only a small part of this office's function. Preparation of all college budgets, bids for various college serv ices, allocation of current funds and long-range fiscal planning are the more significant aspects of this business operation. Mr. William T. Leman J r. as business manager is a member of the president's administrative board. Beginning in fall term 1961, the Business Of fice will move from the old house it has occupied at 1733 S. W . Park to the ground floor of the new South Park Hall. Six cashiers will be added to facili tate registration for the coming year. 33
