ALUMNI ASSOCIATION Just as active participation in the affairs of the college is the mark of the active student, so it is with the alumni . The natural outlet for paricipation and administration is within the Alumni Association. Long an integral part of the college , the alumni gro~p strives to stimulate interest among both graduates and friends of the college. Because PSC is a very young school, the association is small. It is not able to make luge fund g;fts to the colle)!e. But its members continuallv dig deep to Durchase items of necessity for the academic or activity program. This year the alums gave a pottery clay mixer, valued at over four hundred dollars , to the PSC art department. Though it will be many years before the alumni can build costly buildings or impos ing monuments, they give a great deal in encour agement and voter support. From the present small nucleus assoc iation will come an even more vital and active organization as the years pass and the alumni increase in numbers and in strength. PSC Alumni president, Herb Perkins, presents a check to Mr. Ray Grimm of the college art department for the purchase of a pottery clay mixer. Presentation took place at the alumni banquet held during Homecoming Week. 246
