The Viking Vets' Club is one of the college's most active organizations. The club took first place in both the spring and fall blood drives. Their Homecoming float, took a second award trophy, and their in­ tramural teams were successful. The Vets' Cl ub collected ciga rettes for the Veteran's Hospital and, through a donkey baseball game were able to donate a television set to the hospital. Also presented during the year were the Brothers F our , the "Khaki Kapers" dance and the fifth annual Strawberry Pop Festival. Officers for the yea r were: Ray Dame.r­ ell, president; Jim Hayes and Chuck Far­ rington, vice-presidents; Dick Krattiger, sec retary; LeRoy Scott, treasurer and Bob Musmansky, sergeant-at-arms. The Brothers Four, current recording sensation, performed in concert under the auspices of the Vet's Club. 242
