INTERNATIO NAL CLUB The need for international understanding among nations is essential to the preservation of world peace. At Portland State, the International Club works with such groups as the American Field Service and the United Nations League. Besides providing fellowship for the many foreign students that attend PSC, the club brings the Amer­ ican student into closer contact with other ideas on world problems. Dinner meeings, forums, and social contacts pro­ vide the students with opportunity to discover "what the other fellow thinks". The club feels it is this kind of understanding which will help ease inter­ national tensions and bring the peoples of the world close r togethe r. 237
