Formed in 1949, the group is now the oldest loca l at PSc. L ong a part of the PSC sce ne, the Sigs were very active during the past year. For the second year, the fraternity won th e sweepstakes in H omeccmi ng float competition, and added th e I FC Victory Bell to its trophy case by winning th e intramural football championship. During th e Christmas holidays the fraternity held a turkey dinner, at which the Sigs prese nted to the Sun­ shine D ivision cf the Portland Police Bureau food baskets for seve ral needy families. Trips to the Oregon coast and M t'. Hood were high lights of the Sig social season. The group actively par­ ticipated in Int erfraternity Council as well as other campus activities. The Sigma Delta Omega badge is a c ross of red enamel bearing the letters of the fraternity. The pledge pin is sma ll letter "sigma".
