PRESIDENT'S ASSISTANTS The office of the president serves. as the center of coordination for the admin­ istration of the entire college. Under Ore­ gon's unified System of Higher Educa­ tion, President Branford P. Millar exer­ cises leadership in all of the intellectual and educational programs of the college. In addi tion, he is responsible to the chan­ cellor and the State board of Higher Education for administration of all col­ lege departments, appointment of staff, and maintenance of the budget in accord­ ance with authorized funds. The staff of the president's office in­ cludes Dr. James E. Brooks, executive assistant; Dr. E. Dean Anderson, admin­ istrative assistant and secretaries to the president and the assistants. E.
