Pictured above are the creations of several orgoni%otions who entered the ice-sculpturing contest. The winnil)g piece is fifth from the right and was carved by Delta Delta Delta sorority and Sigma Delta Omega fraternity. For Portland State students and those from other campuses who were able to get here, there was a prelude to the traditional Saturday and Sunday on Mt. Hood - Thursday and Friday evening events centered around the beautiful ice rink in Portland's new Lloyd Center. Another papular feature at the Lloyd Center was the 150 free ice skating offered to students holding Winter Carnival tickets. Pictured at the right is Helen Cooper and Bob Ferguson.
