STUDIES CENTER The Middle East Studies Center, on addition to the Social Science Department, was created last year by Dr. Frederick Cox with a grant from the National Defe nse Education Act. The objective of the pro· gram is the training of area specialists. Courses offered by the Center include language, geography, economics, and history of the Middle East.
