FINNISH CLASSROOM DEDICATION Ralph Enckell, Finnish ambassador to the United Nations, attended the open house at Port­ land State's new Finnish Room, which was com­ pleted this year. "The room is typical of Finnish architecture and design at its best," said Ambas­ sador Enckell. The Finnish Room was built by local Finnish people and Americans of Finnish descent. The purpose of this unusual and attractive room is to stimulate respect and admiration for the people and culture of Finland.
