1J fCOMING Before reaching Duniway Park, Queen Joanne I lit a torch, and runner Len Luckens carried it to the park to light the annual bonfire of floats. A part of the homecoming activities was the football game between the Port­ land State "Vikings" and the University of Columbia "Thunderbirds" at the Lincoln high school field Saturday af­ ternoon, November 2. We won 33 to 13. John Voeller and the Moonlighters provided the music for the annual Homecoming Dance at the Grand Ball­ room on the fourth floor of the Colum­ bia Athletic Club Saturday night.
