STATE HALL 1957 marked the comple­ tion of the first quarter­ Hall" classroom building, block unit of the "State which will eventually cover the entire block. Plans final­ ly became realities as this new structure was completed in I . __- ...... ~ time to ease the enrollment pressure on "Old Main." This magnificent glass and brick structure is only the first of a series of new build­ ings which will line the Park Blocks in the near future. It is evident that at long last Portland State has come of age.
