Activities during the last year were interesting and varied: guest speakers who were prominent in the field of education were brought to our club meetings; good ~Ims with educational value were sponsored free to the public; the opportunity to meet other students majoring in education was provided through a program of pot-luck dinners. pie socials and a picnic; a tour to Salem was sponsored to give members the chance to see the work done by the Oregon State system of higher education and also to see our Oregon Legislature in session; a future teacher. Susan White. was the winner of the Home Coming Queen of the year honor. The Future Teachers also provided service to the college by helping at registration. and by visiting high school F. T. A. groups. 271
