C(!)ach EDDIE ADAMS Baseball Eddie Adams, ex Portland Beaver had a successful season with Portland State this year. Coach Adams pulled the Yikes from an early season slump to the con– ference championship. The early season drought was caused by inexperience and lack of practice time due to the rain. Coach Adams must be congratulated for his performance his first year here. The team ended the season with a record of 13 wins and 9 losses. Assisting him, Coach Adams had two fine ball players. Jack Dunn who handles the infield and Dave Teyema who took good care of the outfield. Ray Anderson, and Jerry Aman were selected for the all-conference team from the Yikes.
