Viles LOIS MASON President-Fall Term BETTE DAVIS Secretary-Fall Term LENA McMILLEN Vice President-Fall Term VIKES is the oldest women's organiza­ tion still in existence at Portland State, receiving its charter on April 25, 1948. Its purpose is to further social, educa· tional, and cultural traits of the members and to aid the students and faculty of the school in any way possible. Members of Vikes have been active in school ser­ vice projects as well as in social activ­ ities. They have participated in many school functions and have sponsored joint and date meetings. Also, they have been 'very active on the rally squad, both school publications, and have held several posi­ tions on the student and inter-club council. MRS.
