1Jirtefor-s Dr. James Caughlin is the Assistant Dean of the General Extension Center and Head of Portland State Extension Center. It is his job to correlate the many intricate functions of the day and night classes into a working institution of higher educa­ tion. DR. JAMES CAUGHLIN Head 0/ the Extension DR. CLARK SPURLOCK Head 0/ the Night School Dr. Clark Spurlock, Director of the night program, has the trying job of seeing that the many activities of the night program run in smooth harmony.
