Lloyd Brown VICE PRESI DENT STUDENT COUNCIL SPRING 1951 A vigorous campaign, in the middle of winter term, resu lted in the election of AI Harleman student body President. A sophomore education major AI served as a member of the student coun­ cil in the fall term . With this experience behind him he assumed the duties of President. Also being an active member in the Forestry Club and Delta Tau Rho helped him in his conta<;ts with the students. Exchange assemblies. a school picnic spring term, Anniversa ry Day, and many other thing s were on his program. The placing of independent students on com­ mittees was also one of his accomplish­ ments. With an active group of councilmen consisting of John Eggink , AI Backmann, Barbara Evonchuck, Ruth Fuller, Pat Maize, Herb Perkins, and Ernie Baudder he worked out a very progressive pro­ gram for the spring term.
