JOin thl VANPOQT MOTH[~S' CLUB l MOTHERS' CLUB At the Open House in Novem­ ber 1949, opportunity was given interested parents to sign a regis­ ter indica ting they would be in­ terested in the formation of Mothers' and Dad s' clubs. On April 30, 1950 at a tea for mothers an organizing committee was se­ lected to begin the functioning of the club. On May 23 a meeting of all intere sted mothers was called and the constitution was adopted. The greatest addition to the membership of the Mothers' club wa s made at the 1950 Open House. when membership booths were set up throughout the build­ ing . Monthly meetings have been held either at Lincoln High School or at Vanport. The program ranged in different fields.
