LIBRARY Under the capable leader­ ship of Dr. Jean Black the Vanport library staff has tirelessly replaced books, ref­ erence material, and library equipment. The library was destroyed in the Memorial Day flood of 1948. Dr. Black and her staff have been reo placing and supplementing material since the tragedy. The library is open for the student body and the faculty from 8 to 5 o'clock. During these hours students study, obtain reference material, and check out books for overnight and week-end use.
