Mrs. Alissa Eskol noted Palestmian lecturer and author. spoke on November 2. under the sponsorship of the Club Service program: Born in Jerusalem. educated at the Univer sity of Palestine. Miss Eskol has been a very active member of the Jewish Nationalist move ment. She has led an adventurous life and has witnessed revolutions and military inva sions which preceded the creation of the Free State of Israel. She lectured to the students about the development and the improvement of the Holy Land. In native costume of China Dr. Koo. spoke to the assembled students at Vanport. He related his experiences in China during the revolutionary period when he was attending school. At a luncheon given in his honor Dr . Koo played a Chinese reed flute for entertain ment. World Student Service Fund was the sub ject of Mr. Kwoh. Chinese lecturer who spoke to assembled students during assembly period . Conditions of the Chinese schools and how the education facilities were handled.
