A vital part of college life, the "Vanguard, " Van port college's weekly publication continued this year to keep alive student interest in school activi ties. Ably edited by Floyd Lallsdon, the Fall term "Vangard" reported and interpreted campus news accurately and complete ly . A journalism major, Floyd organized the pa per from virtually nothing and coordinated and di rected the members of the staff he a ssembled. Throughout the years, Fred Vosper has truly been the "Vanguard" mainstay . He has been around the various "Van guard" offices since the days of the "Old" school. During the Fall and Win ter terms he served as as sociate editor, and the Spring term, he took over the editorship.
