No single in­ dividual does more than Or. Putnonl in uniting the efforts of student, faculty and administrative groupe to achieve that pur­ pose. Social activities in the college program have always been, lor many students. a rich area 01 maturing experience. Directing such activi­ ties is one of the several. smoothly executed. jobs of Assistant to the Dean John W Dunn. Mr. Dunn also directs students' vocational plans through his testing program and shares with Dean Halley the privilege 01 confering with individual students. who seek gtJidance. 25
