The Vanport College Pistol and Rifle club, with a present membership of fifty men and and women, is an affiliated Class A club with the National Rifle Association of America. Its aim is to teach the safe handling of firearms. A shooting range has been constructed by the members and is supervised by qualified instructors. All students have access to the Range. This club is not a military organization but arms and am­ unilion are requisitioned from Army arsenals for student use.
