For the second year Cork Kaske has played Ihe No. 1 po· sition on the tennis team, and also coached and managed the team. Hank Olsen played in Ihe sec· ond spot. Vanport's 1950 court squad led off the season with losses 10 Washington Stale college by an 8·to·1 score,cmd to Oregon State by 6·to·l. In succession the Vikes trounced Linfield 7·to·0 and 6·10·0, and OCE 7·to·O. In Ihe lasI malch played to dale University of Idaho dropped the Vike nelters 4·10·3. In remaining malches it ap· peared thai Vanporl would be undefea led in small college com· petition, but wilh coast confer· ence schools proving stronger. _ i
