PORTLAND HALL Portland Hall, which was our recrea­ tion building, was moved from its foun­ dation and carried some distance away. Coach Joe Holland, assisting salvage operations, is shown above. To the left of the dike break, the roofs of the college can be seen partly cov­ ered by the flood waters . The large "L" shaped roof was Columbia Hall, Admin­ istration building.
