new student camp The fifth annual New Student Camp was held again this year under the green trees of Camp Menucha. The two days were successful not only in bringing new people together, but in easing their transition into a college environment. Camp Director Bob Keith saw that swimming and tennis were tempered with thought and discussion. Many student and faculty forums were held, with Dr. James Hart giving the keynote address. Entering freshmen, with representatives from student government, clubs, fraternities, sororities and campus religious groups, played, talked, listened - and planned for their futures at Portland State.
