• musIc Outstanding musicians from the Portland State Music Department are being heard more and more often in the community. Many students, besides playing in the PSC Orchestra, are members of the Portl.and Symphony and Portland Junior Symphony. From busy practice rooms to the staging of the opera Riga/ella, John Stehn's students made fine music fall on many ears.
