3 RAPS SHEET n DECEMBER 2023 OVER THE PAST YEARS, the RAPS Robert Vogelsang Scholarship has made a difference at PSU. Together, we have: 8Enabled a student faced with dropping out of school to complete a master’s degree, which led to work on a hospital neurology team addressing the needs of 60- to 80-year-olds. 8Helped graduate into the social work field a student now addressing aging and end-of-life-care. 8Assisted a student who, 12 years after completing her graduate degree, is an associate professor of gerontology at Western Oregon University. 8Supported the aspirations of a student who wanted to help seniors navigate the complex healthcare system. These are just a few examples of the many ways the RAPS Vogelsang Scholarship has made a difference in the lives and careers of students studying and working in aging and health. Today we’re asking you to consider a gift to the RAPS Vogelsang Scholarship.
