'85 Andrea Gatrell (BS) "stars" in a National Geographic Series video to be di stributed throughout the United States and Canada. Dr. Jon Wakamatsu (BS) will be establishing a family medical prac– tice in Hood River, taking over the pract ice of Dr. Warren Thompson. Anne O ' Malley (BA), who is study– ing international law at the Uni ver– sity of Houston, has been awarded a full Fulbright grant to Germany for the 1990-9 1academic year. '88 Emily Sahler (BA) has been ac– cepted into the classes of noted ac– ting teacher Uta Hagen at the H-B Studio in New York City. Sahl er was chosen along with 14 other stu– dents from an audition of 450. Jonatha n S pencer ( M BA) was promo ted to senior associate a t Coopers & Lybrand and accouting firm in Portland. Deborah Tapper-Perry (BS) will depart for Hungary to begin a fi ve– year missionary program as part of an I I-member team sponsored by the Northwest Church of Chri st in Seattle. '90 C raig Smith (MBA) has been hired by the Small Business Development Center at Eastern O regon State Col– lege. Smith , who is the former ownerof a Portland Saturday Market natural foods business, will head "Ope ra tion Acces ," a program designed to prov ide ma rketing strategies and support tools for retai l and serv ice-oriented small business owners in Northeastern O regon.
