The new lettering, shield and Viking image were created by Nike designers and are featured on clothing and other items for sale at the PSU Bookstore, Smith Memorial Student Union Spirit Store and the downtown Nike store. “We’re launching a new identity, but it’s a lot more than that,” says PSU Athletics Director Mark Rountree. “It’s a new era for the Portland State Vikings and comes on the heels of one of the most successful seasons in school history.”  GET ALL OF THE LATEST sports news at GoViks.com .
